My Story

You can talk to anyone and everyone has a story; and almost everyone has experienced some kind of trauma… Hi I’m Trudi, a Life Coach, a Domestic Violence Prevention Expert, Trauma Survivor, and Energy Teacher.

You’re probably wondering why I’m mentioning this. Well, most people that are stuck by what they think are ‘limiting beliefs’ actually have trauma that they just haven’t defined as such. Trauma manifests in the body according to the type of trauma that it is, it could be in your back, in your brain, in your neck, in your knees, and every body part you can think of. It also contributes to chronic and auto-immune disorders.

With my help, my clients and audiences uncover the transformational power of Becoming a Victim No More. I encourage people to regain control of their lives by challenging the belief that we are defined by our experiences or failures.

We all deserve to Become a Victim No More...it's on us to make it a reality.

Understanding Trauma and Overcoming Toxic Relationships

Everyone Has a Story

Trauma is a universal experience, though many of us may not recognize it in our daily lives. Even small events from our childhood can have long-lasting emotional impacts. For instance, a simple scolding from a parent at a young age might lead someone to suppress their emotions and constantly try to gauge the moods of others to avoid conflict. What seems minor now may have been significant and traumatic through the unfiltered lens of a child.

The Reality of Toxic Relationships

Toxic relationships can often go unrecognized by outsiders. A toxic partner may isolate their victim, alienating them from family and friends, and manipulate them into total dependence. This manipulation can become abusive, yet the toxic partner often appears "normal" to others, making it difficult for the victim to find support. Common responses from society, such as "Why don’t you just leave?", oversimplify the complexity of these situations. Without income, savings, or a support network, victims can feel trapped and disbelieved.

My Personal Journey

I endured a toxic marriage for 23 years that included stalking, property damage, and a lack of support from law enforcement and even my own family, who advised forgiveness despite the abuse. It felt impossible to escape, but one day, I took a decisive step towards change by opening a new bank account and changing my financial arrangements. This act marked the beginning of my journey out of the toxic cycle and towards healing.
